Today we sailed for 3 hours with Captain Nikos, passing the island of Sapientza, which is visible from Mathoni. We enjoyed swimming and snorkeling at various spots along the island among the many fish. Nikos knew exactly where to find the right spots. We also visited several sea caves that you had to crawl into – a fun experience! We booked two days in advance, meaning nothing had to be paid yet; payment was only required afterwards. This included plenty of drinks and a small snack.
A fantastic experience with Methoni Boat Rentals & Cruises! We rented a boat twice during our vacation for a full day and were absolutely thrilled. The staff is incredibly competent and the crew is fantastic – everything is explained thoroughly and clearly before the trip, so you feel completely safe even without prior experience. Unfortunately, they only have licensed boats, but that's perfectly adequate for this area. The boats themselves are in excellent, well-maintained condition. You can reach fantastic spots for swimming and snorkeling! The price-performance ratio is also perfect, and the fuel policy is extremely fair and straightforward. A definite recommendation for anyone who wants to explore the coast from the water!
